Transitioning globally to a sustainable consumption and production of goods and services is a necessity to reduce the negative impact on the climate and environment as well as human health. Developing countries in particular are greatly affected by climate change and other environmental impacts, which means increased poverty and reduced welfare.

Sustainable consumption and production means efficient use of resources, consideration of the ecosystem that are necessary for livelihoods and reduced impact from hazardous chemicals. This not only means environmental benefits but also social and economic benefits such as increased competitiveness, business development in a global market, increased employment and improved health and thus reduced poverty. Sustainable consumption and production patterns are therefore also a prerequisite for changing to a green economy, green industrial transition and for sustainable development.

Environmental legislation and other rules are seen as minimum requirements for Modul, and we aim to exceed these. We give priority to suppliers who use the best manufacturing processes from an environmental point of view combined with economic considerations.

We ensure that employees have sufficient knowledge to fulfill the environmental requirements associated with each person's work tasks. We do this by informing and engaging our staff in environmental issues. We also conduct the business in such a way that the safety and health of our employees is not compromised. We work actively with our environmental aspects which leads to us constantly improving and developing our environmental efforts.
